Hi again dear readers!

I'm on oxford street in a fine internet cafe (only 1pound an internet hour).

This morning I've been shoping. Really Idid not shop nothing, so I've only been seeing shops, cause all is so expensive...

I visited Soho on saturday but I did not go to carnaby street. I remenbered this street a little. I was here when I was 8 years old more or less. It was a really funny street plenty of punks and strange people. Now it has changed. It's a fashion victims place. If you are looking for clothes it's your street, you can find here the cutting edge fashion brands.
Also it's a nice place to take a walk and eat vegetarian or international food.

I'm flying back to Málaga this afternoon. I'm going to check out in the hotel early and then I'll carry my luggage to victoria station and leave it in the left-luggage office.

Then I'll go shopping again :) I still have to buy some gifts.

My trip is reaching the end. Butit does not mean I'm going to stop writing this blog! I've enjoyed this so much, so I'll use it as my personal blog. New trips are coming, so, stay tunned!

I've been told that my written english is bad. Sure it's true, and also I've been writing quickly and without taking the needed care about how I write. I'm going to make it better, starting right now!

As usual, I'm very tired. Today I spent the morning working a little (disadvantages of travelling with your laptop), so I've only enjoyed half day.

Today I've visited:

Design museum: I was late (about 5.15pm) and it was closing, you know, all is closing very early! I had time to see the building and the shop.

Science museum: Really interesting, I walked all around quickly but hope to stay there more time on my next visit.

Covent garden: Another street market. It's plenty of people and there are many street shows. Nice visit.

The city: is the historic core of London, now it's a major business and commercial centre. You can see lots of executives walking around and crossing the bridge you have a good sight of the London skyline.

London eye: very expensive for me (13.50 punds), and you have to wait about an hour to buy your ticket.

london on my own/imag/ed/default_avatar65x65.pnghttp://londononmyown.lacoctelera.net/post/2007/04/30/everything-close-earlyEverything close early2007-04-30T22:29:40+00:002007-11-06T07:49:33+00:00

A quick advise: prepare your trip! Dont' do like me. When preparing it take into account that here everything close at 6 or at least at 7 (really early for me).

london on my own/imag/ed/default_avatar65x65.pnghttp://londononmyown.lacoctelera.net/post/2007/04/30/sunday-summarySunday summary2007-04-30T10:54:48+00:002007-11-06T07:49:27+00:00

Ok, sunday is finishing, second day off.
It was a hard day again, very tiring, I walked a lot. But it was exciting also!

Again I knew nice people. At TATE modern I was wearing my firefox t-shirt and the clerk at the musseum shop stopped me and we had a very nice chat about firefox, IE, modern art, etc.

Camden was plenty of spanish people, which are really noisy, only beaten by the italians!

So today I've visited:

Buckingham road and palace, I went to Google Office, it's very big and looks funny.

Victoria station and area.

Camdem town.

Tate modern and london bridge.

Now, going to sleep!

Wow! Camden town is great!
It's a strange market where you can find anything. From clothes to modern furtinure.

You can eat food from many different parts of the world there,at very low prices (for being london ;)

I found there a used but very well conserved copy of Donald Norman's "The Psychology of Everyday Things"

There are some photos at flickr.

london on my own/imag/ed/default_avatar65x65.pnghttp://londononmyown.lacoctelera.net/post/2007/04/30/the-tate-modernThe TATE modern2007-04-30T10:09:23+00:002009-10-05T14:16:52+00:00

I visited the TATE modern. It's in the border of the river, and is a very nice and impressive building.

I think that the best thing of all musseums of modern art is the cafe and the store. And it's also true for TATE modern.

Well, it's the end of the day.
I've seen many things, met many people and practiced my english a lot :)

Here it is a list of places I've been today:

picadilly circus - incredible commercial area, full fashion shops, restaurants and theatres.

Chinatown and leicester square - all kind of china restaurants and bussines, very funny.

soho - it's like a gay theme park! plenty of pubs, sexshops and very populated. You can find there anything.

oxford street - Typical commercial street. There is Hamsley a huge toy store, nice to visit.

portobello road and market - A big antiques street market. Nice place, there are also fruit kiosks, where I bought an apple :)

I'm at the hotel now, very tired and preparing to see what's on BBC.
